Do you offer free consultations?
  Yes, the initial consultation concerning your legal matter is free.
 
May I refuse to talk to a police officer?
  You can refuse to allow them to search your car or house or anywhere else unless they have a warrant or probable cause of crime. The police won’t explain your rights or consequences when you agree to talk to them. As your attorneys we will not only explain those rights, but we’ll protect them.
 
How many days do I have to answer a divorce petition or other lawsuit?
You have thirty (30) days from the date you are served with a divorce petition or other lawsuit to file a responsive pleading.
 
How many days do I have to appeal a case?
  In most situations, you have 30days to perfect an appeal from a final order.
 
Do I need to appear with my child at court?
  Yes, if the child is under the age of 19 years a parent must be present in court with them.
 
Do you handle cases on a contingent fee, or percentage basis?
  Yes, there are certain types of cases, which may be handled on a contingent fee basis.
 
Do I have to have a will to pass property at the time of my death?
   No. A will is just one of several ways to pass property. Despite what many people believe, a will does not have to be complicated or expensive.
